View all gamesRTP and House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is the theoretical rate of the total amount wagered in a game that is returned to players over the long term. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, on average ৳960 is distributed back to players for every ৳1,000 wagered.
Keep in mind, however, that RTP is a long-term mathematical rate — it can vary widely within a single session. A higher RTP does not guarantee winning more in every round.
It is useful to know the general RTP ranges for different game categories: slot games are typically 92–98%, blackjack with correct strategy is around 99%, and roulette is around 94–97%. This information will help you make informed decisions.
House edge is the flip side of RTP — the casino's mathematical advantage. An RTP of 96% means a house edge of 4%. A lower house edge means relatively better conditions for the player. Live dealer games generally have a lower house edge compared to slots.
Odds — How to Read Them
Odds are the mathematical expression of the probability of an outcome and the potential reward. Understanding odds correctly makes betting decisions much easier.
Decimal Odds
The simplest format. Example: You place a ৳500 bet at odds of 1.80. Total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900. Profit = ৳400.
Implied Probability
Work out the probability of winning from the odds: 1 ÷ odds. Odds of 1.80 mean 1 ÷ 1.80 ≈ 55.6% probability in the bookmaker's estimate.
Fractional Odds (UK format)
4/1 means ৳400 profit on a ৳100 bet. In decimal format this is 5.00.
American Odds (Moneyline)
+200 means ৳200 profit on a ৳100 bet. -150 means you need to bet ৳150 to win ৳100 profit.
Account Verification Process
The KYC (Know Your Customer) process is mandatory at hg99 — it is for your own security. This process ensures that no one can access your account without authorisation.
Identity verification is essential for the security of financial transactions and for complying with international standards. It prevents money laundering and fraud.
A clear photo of your National ID (NID) or passport, proof of current address (utility bill or bank statement), and a selfie verification.
Verification is usually completed within 1 to 24 hours. It may take a little longer during busy periods — but our team always works quickly.
Once verification is complete, you will be notified by email or live chat. After that, you will have full withdrawal access and be able to participate in all promo offers.
Bankroll Management Guide
Financial planning for responsible and sustainable play
1. Set a budget
Set aside a fixed amount each month for entertainment that will not affect your daily life if lost. Never use money earmarked for rent, food, or other essential family expenses as your gambling budget.
2. Divide into sessions
Split your monthly budget into several sessions. For example, with a monthly budget of ৳5,000 divided into 10 sessions, each session gets ৳500. This reduces the risk of losing everything on a bad day.
3. The 1–5% rule per bet
Do not stake more than 1–5% of your total bankroll on any single bet. This rule is universally accepted among professional bettors. With a ৳5,000 bankroll, each bet should be a maximum of ৳250.
4. Set aside winnings after a win
After a good session, withdraw or set aside at least 50% of your profit. Reinvesting all winnings is a common mistake that is harmful in the long run.
5. Stop at your loss limit
Set a stop-loss limit in advance. Stopping after losing 50% of your session budget is the sensible approach. Placing larger bets to recover losses (chasing losses) is the most dangerous habit.
6. Record your play history
Keep a simple spreadsheet or notebook recording each session's deposits, withdrawals, and results. This will keep you aware of your own playing patterns and help you avoid overspending.
